When life gets busy sometimes we forget what is so important, at least I know that I do. These are such precious times in my life and in the life of my family, as well. My daughter is two years old and at such a ripe age for learning and growing, I have a husband that loves me dearly and I have family and friends that care and treasure me.
 I was reminded over the holidays how I am rich in relationships. Some of those I have neglected, some of those have just started, but all of which I am will work harder in 2010 to foster. Life has a way of distracting you from the things that are so basic an simple and may seem mundane, but are more beautiful than anything glossy and new. We just have to learn appreciate it once again. Henry David Thoreau said "I had three chairs in my house; one for solitude, two for friendship, three for society." This is what I want to say about my life, and it be as simple as that. I will be talking more about goals, desires, loves, wishes, and failures when I write my post about the New Year. For now, I am just happy that the holidays gave me some perspective and I am grateful just for the opportunity to celebrate the birth of a savior and the chance for renewal in the new year coming up.

These two are so much fun! We went to the Columbia County Fair and had a blast and traveled to some big open fields, which are a win in my book. We had alot of fun, the sights the sounds, and all the love. They are beautiful.

Tiffany and Omarr are a pleasure, I was so happy to work with them. There is no denying they love each other so much!! I cant wait to see their special day!! Congratulations on your good news also, you two! Tiffany was so creative to think of this great shot in front of the stop sign!!

So the deadline for the Augusta Photography Festival, and I have been in a frantic trying to figure out what I am going to submit. I just decided at the very last moment. I am not sure when it comes to judging what they are looking for and this is not the first competition I have submitted work for, but...this is the first for the Augusta Photography Festival. Let me know what you think.

I haven't had a whole lot to post lately but, I will soon, though! I have several bridals and engagements this month, with several weddings fastly approaching...yay. And various family sessions and individual shoots, and the occasional gorgeous model. I am very blessed to being doing something I love so much. I am not even kidding when I say I am extremely passionate about it. I think and breathe it, and can't wait till I get to share in people's lives this way, every single day I am living!! So I have been tagged by Haley Lamb a photographer from here in Augusta. The tag is to list 8 random things about yourself. So, here goes.... 1. I am obsessed with birds. (get it..Bird in Hand Photography) 2. I named my daughter after a Jane Austen novel...and classy movie actress. 3. I secretly wish to be on broadway. I have been in many musicals, and know the words too all the major ones, I know it's cheesy. 4. I went to Art school, I learned some things, but for the life of me, cannot figure if it was worth the money. 5. I have a really bad habit of repeating what people say and applying to their face. for example: Kenny- "My mom is going to the store" Me-"Your face is going to the store" It is a really weird thing that I do.  I should stop. 6. I'm really adhd. It causes trouble. But I dont like to talk about it. 7. I'm an undercover nerd, and enjoy the occasional star trek. Me and my dad used to watch Star trek marathons, together. 8. well kinda. Things have been on the slow side this week, but I have been working on ads, graphic design wise and  photography for a local ad company. I had two shoots today that went well. Dump trucks, and clothing. I had a little fun myself and took a couple of photos of textures from inside the dumptruck. Anyways, I am very thankful and blessed with the opportunities that have been coming up.

Tonight at First Friday @ Blue Magnolia, about 6 to 6:30 ish join us (Andy Donnan Photography and Me, Bird in Hand Photography) to take some Portraits, We will have some cool furniture (courtesy of Blue Magnolia) and will be taking portraits of anyone who wants them! Please come by!
